Sailing and Swimsuits

I had the pleasure of joining a dozen or so friends on a sailboat this weekend.  Despite threats of thunderstorms, the day was full of sunshine, fun and memories.

In light of the upcoming honeymoon and bachelorette, I had been searching high and low for a flattering bikini – particularly, a top that fits my narrow frame.  After a number of recommendations, I ended up looking to Victoria’s Secret, which in all honesty, was not quite on my radar for swimwear.  Given Victoria’s Secret’s handle on the lingerie market, however, it makes sense that it has figured out how to fit a swimsuit to women of various sizes.

Sailing was the perfect occasion to do a test run of the suit pictured above before the bachelorette.  After a day of jumping off the boat into the water and swimming around, I can say with certainty that this swimsuit fits a petite frame – and, very importantly, that it stays in place.
